Role Overview

• Reconcile bank transactions using cloud accounting software.

• Review and process invoices, receipts and financial records using digital document management systems.

• Assist with bookkeeping for a variety of clients.

• Support the preparation of VAT and MTD returns and management accounts.

• Help prepare year-end accounts and working papers.

• Assist with payroll processing and payroll journals.

• Respond to client queries by email and telephone in a professional manner.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with firm procedures.

• Support senior accountants with ad-hoc assignments and client projects.

Training to be Provided

You will work towards the Assistant Accountant apprenticeship standard, with training delivered by Solveway alongside your role.
