Information Communications Technician Apprentice
Role Overview
- Assist with the diagnosis and resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
- Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of devices and systems.
- Assist with user account management and system access.
- Support system monitoring, updates, and routine maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and technical activity.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to provide efficient IT support.
Training to be Provided
As part of this apprenticeship, you will:
- Attend structured off-the-job training delivered by Solveway Apprenticeships.
- Complete portfolio evidence linked to your workplace activities.
- Receive regular progress reviews and be supported by a designated workplace mentor.
- Work towards the successful completion of your End Point Assessment.
- Plates PC will provide appropriate workplace tasks to help you develop competence in IT support, systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and professional behaviours in line with the Level 3 Information Communications Technician apprenticeship standard.
