Role Overview

  • Assist with the diagnosis and resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of devices and systems.
  • Assist with user account management and system access.
  • Support system monitoring, updates, and routine maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and technical activity.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to provide efficient IT support.

Training to be Provided

As part of your Level 3 Information Communications Technician apprenticeship, you will receive comprehensive training including:

  • Structured off-the-job training delivered by Solveway Apprenticeships.
  • Building a portfolio of evidence linked to your workplace activities.
  • Regular progress reviews to support your development.
  • Guidance from a designated workplace mentor.
  • Support towards the successful completion of your End Point Assessment.

DarkKnight Ltd will provide appropriate workplace tasks to ensure you develop competence in IT support, systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and professional behaviours aligned with the apprenticeship standard.
