Role Overview

  • Perform bookkeeping tasks in the office.
  • Prepare VAT returns for review by senior staff.
  • Assist in the preparation of accounts for review, covering both unincorporated and incorporated entities.
  • Support the preparation of personal, partnership, and company tax returns and computations for review.
  • Complete assigned tasks as efficiently as possible.
  • Handle new client setups, including preparing client engagement letters and 64-8s as instructed.

Training to be Provided

This apprenticeship offers comprehensive on-the-job training, complementing your AAT apprenticeship studies. You will gain practical experience across various accounting functions, supported by experienced professionals, to develop a strong foundation in accountancy and taxation.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths A*-C/4-9 or Level 2 equivalents.
  • Must have a DBS check.
  • Must have a driver's licence or the ability to travel to the Poole or Christchurch offices.
